Description
Makoto is a beautifully illustrated climbing card game of timing, strategy, and restraint, set in feudal Japan. Players take the role of wandering Ronin, seeking honor through clever play and sincere judgment. Each round, play combinations of cards or runs to outmaneuver opponents, manage the shared “blind,” and decide when to strike or hold back. Powerful Kensei combinations can turn the tide, while scoring favors those who play wisely across multiple rounds. Elegant yet deeply tactical, Makoto captures the spirit of sincerity and skill in a quick, engaging game for 2–5 players, playable in 30 minutes.
